Reviewing the status and impact of the existing and proposed EE and renewable energy sources with officials on Sunday ahead of the commencement of the National Energy Conservation Week (December 14-20), the Chief Minister asked the officials to adopt global technologies in thermal power stations under the APGENCO for reducing pollutants.

He directed the officials concerned to ensure participation of public in a large way in the energy conservation movement, as without their participation, success of any programme can not be guaranteed.
