VIJAYAWADA: Minister for Health and Medical Education Kamineni Srinivas on Thursday said that he would go to Delhi on December 18 to discuss the issue of the Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences students with officials of Medical Council of India.   During a meeting with officials of NTR health University, Kamineni Srinivas said, “Because of FIMS management, students lost their career and we will support them in all ways.

For the upcoming NEET exam, we are offering free coaching to the students to sit for NEET. The government will bear the fees of those students who crack NEET 2018. If a student qualifies in NEET and secures a B category seat, the government will pay their fees. ”He said that FIMS management has agreed to pay back the fees to the parents. “I will go to Delhi again on December 18 to discuss the issue with MCI officials. We are trying everything possible to mete out justice to the students,” the minister said.
