VIJAYAWADA: With the second round of bookings for the ‘HappyNest’ flats set to open on Monday, the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has decided to conduct awareness sessions at its office on Friday and Saturday. In the sessions, the authority will explain the project features and the process of booking to potential buyers.
HappyNest is a housing project proposed by the authority to promote residential activity in the new capital Amaravati. According to a press release on Wednesday, the officials said that 900 flats will be made available for booking at 9 am on December 10.
“For those who wish to know the project details and the online booking process, the APCRDA has scheduled awareness sessions at its head office at Lenin Centre, Vijayawada, on Friday and Saturday. The hourly sessions will be held from 2 pm to 6 pm,” the press release said.
It may be noted that the first round of bookings was held in November, in which 300 flats were booked. The 12 towers will come up in Nelapadu village in 14.4 acres of land. The authority has fixed the base price of the housing units at `3,492 per square feet.
EESL hands over electric cars to APCRDA
Earlier in the day, the Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) handed over five electric cars to the APCRDA. The vehicles were given to the authority commissioner Cherukuri Sreedhar and additional commissioner S Shan Mohan by the regional head of EESL, Srinivasa Rao.
Speaking on the occasion, Srinivasa Rao said that 30 more cars will be supplied in the next couple of weeks. It may be noted that the authority has entered into a pact with EESL for the supply of 35 electric cars, which will replace the existing cars of the officials as a part of promoting e-vehicles.
