Prema Baraha by Arjun Sarja

Aishwarya's Kannada debut is titled after her father's much-loved song.

As reported earlier by City Express, Arjun Sarja has been planning to direct his elder daughter Aishwarya Arjun in a romance, which we now hear is all set go on floors from this month.

Though Arjun Sarja is yet to make an official announcement, the buzz is that the film’s muhurath is on May 22.

This being a bilingual project, made in Tamil and Kannada, Arjun Sarja has decided to keep its Kannada title as Prema Baraha. Interestingly, these are the first two words of the song Prema baraha koti taraha/baradare mugiyada kavya vidu... from his own film, Prathap, that featured Sudha Rani. This song being one of his favourites is also his caller tune.

Meanwhile, Arjun Sarja has made a small change in the casting. Initially, the actor and director had chosen Chetan to play the lead for the bilingual, but Chandan has replaced him. Chandan was the runner up of Bigg Boss Season 3. It is said that Chetan backed out of the film because of the change in the characterisation.

Chandan posted on his Facebook page on May 11: ‘Getting back to form. 10 days remain for the launch of bilingual movie (kannada and tamil ) Big one after BIGGBOSS. Cheers.’ (sic),. Working with Arjun Sarja is definitely a big break for the actor. While Chandan is debuting in Tamil, Aishwarya is debuting in Kannada with this movie.

From his other posts on Facebook, it is clear that Chandan is leaving no stone unturned to showcase his talent and is rigorously working out to fit into the role.

Chandan made the transition from small screen to Sandalwood and starred in a couple of films before he got a big ticket in a multi-starrer Luv U Alia. The film directed by Indrajit Lankesh featured Ravichandran, Bhoomika Chawla with Sunny Leone making a cameo appearance. This bilingual happens to be Chandan’s big break.

We now need to wait to get all the dope from Arjun Sarja about his much-planned love story, which apparently is made under his home banner, Sri Ram International.
