Rakshit Shetty, who has always tried to set new standards in the film industry, now wants to lead a change in the audio market. The writer, actor, director and now a producer, with Kirik Party, has decided not to tie up with any audio company  and instead release the tracks online.

“Since we have our own production house, Paramvah Studios, we want to expand it and get into all aspects of filmmaking,” says Rakshit. “To start with, we are planning to start a YouTube channel. We had an outstanding response when we released the trailer and our next attempt is to reach the audio far and wide. “

He says, at present, the industry does not view the audio market favourably.“Therefore, we want to experiment with different mediums.”The music of Kirik Party, composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath, has 10 songs. The first video song, to be released tomorrow by Paramvah Studio, is Tirboki Jeevana, for which the lyrics were penned by Rakshit himself.

“We decided to start with this song because it is youth-oriented. We will follow it up with three more video songs, with a staggered release, and then we will put out the whole album,” he says.

The actor, also the producer, is cautious about announcing the release date. “I would definitely want to it to be out by December first or second week. But at the same time, I want people to come out of the cash scarcity,” he says.

Kirik Party directed by Rishab Shetty also features MM Rashmika and Samyukta Hegde. Karm Chawla is the cinematgrapher.
