Though, he had a few producers in line, Satya Prakash has chosen to go with Umapathy.

The producer, who has started with Hebbuli will now be investing in Satya’s  film. Previous to getting associated with the director, Umpathy has picked up the rights of Rama Rama Re to make it in other south Indian languages.

The producer, who confirms the news with City Express, told us that it is another beautiful script by Satya Prakash, which I am confident that the audience will agree with me at the time of the film’s release.
Interestingly, Satya’s approach towards his second film has been different. He has not asked for a remuneration for this movie, but instead will be taking a 50 per cent share from the film’s profit.

“That was the only mandate Satya had to associate with me for the project. He was looking at a share of 20-30%, but I decided to give 50 per cent share,” he says.

Satya’s way of appraoching the script is what garnered the attention of the producer. “What I liked about Satya is when he said, how unlike other directors, he can’t watch 10 films and come up with one. He said that he needed a minimum of five months to meditate on the script. If it is possible, only then he said he would associate with me, and I immediately agreed. Today, in the age, where directors are doing a cut and paste job and picking up material from world movies, I saw an honest director in Satya. So I decided to not only give him time, but 50 per cent share from this film,” he adds.
The film will have a fresh star cast mostly with a theatre background.
