The makers of Shivarajkumar starrer Leader directed by Narasimha had to do a lot of recee at Kashmir and Manali before they finally settled to camp at Gulmarg in Kashmir for a 16-day-long shoot from today. Due to the on-going unrest in Kashmir, we had planned to shoot in Manali, but the team had to immediately change the plan because of heavy winds, which we hear might pose a problem.

“Nature was not supporting our shoot and so we shifted back to Kashmir,” says Tarun.
The team consists of 110 crew members including hero
Shivarajkumar along with Vijay Raghavendra, Guru Jaggesh, Pranitha Subhash, Ashika Ranganath, Sudha Belawadi and Krishna Vamsi among others.
Apart from shooting in Kashmir under alert, the crew is taking in another risk with the extreme weather conditions. The team has been told by the production house that the temperature at Gulmarg has dipped to -15 degree Celsius.
“We have taken care of everything. Our tourist co-ordinator has informed us that Gulmarg is very safe compared to other places as it is a tourist spot. So we decided to shoot here,” says Tarun.
While the team is surrounded by military camps, we were told that the team has arranged for its security and will be shooting under police protection.
