Hariprriya is Kanaka’s Sampige

The actress is paired opposite Duniya Vijay in the film that also features Manvitha Harish

Director Chandru, who was particular about bringing in a fresh pair opposite Duniya Vijay for his upcoming film Kanaka, has finalised on Hariprriya.

The actress will be joining the sets from July 12, which is when the makers have planned to start their next schedule.  

“I am glad to have Hariprriya on board, she perfectly fits into the performance-oriented role of character Sampige,” says Chandru. 

Vijay and Hariprriya are sharing screen space for the first time, and featuring along with them is Manvitha Harish.

Now, locations are being finalised, and North Karnataka is where shooting is likely to take place.

Kanaka will also feature actor Ravi Shankar, who is supposed to play a pivotal role. The film’s cinematography is by Sathya Hegde and Naveen Sajju’s is its music director.
