Stunt choreographer-turned-director Ravi Varma is leaving no stone unturned to create right kind of buzz for his first directorial Rustum starring Shivarajkumar. Ravi has planned a high-end photoshoot with the brand new high-end camera. Produced by Jayanna Combines, the film's grand muhurat is scheduled on April 24, Dr Rajkumar's birth anniversary
The team is getting ready with a motion poster and the photoshoot with the Century Star was done on Friday. A huge set was created at Minvera Mills and the director made sure that it won't be any ordinary frame. Going by a member from the film's crew, the photo shoot is costing the producers `10 lakhs. The reason being, the makers have a hired PhaseOne, a 100 mega pixel camera, also a first for the Kannada film industry.
A couple of pictures that City Express managed to hold of throws another surprise. As reported earlier, Shivarajkumar will yet again play the role of a cop in Rustum and Ravi Varma is planning to portray him in a different avatar. In the photos, the actor is physically fit and is also flaunting a moustache. Even as we wait to see the actor's look in a close up shot, we are sure that fans will love his new charm.
Mayuri, who is also part of cast is said to have participated in the photo shoot. She plays Shivarajkumar's sister in the film. Rustum has Shraddha Srinath playing the lead with the crew looking to rope in a Bollywood actor to play a pivotal role. The team will finalise the rest of the cast as they plan to go on floors from May. The film has music by Anoop Seelin and cinematography by Mahendra Simha.
