Ganesh back in namma ooru after Sri Lanka sojourn

The team of Naganna’s directorial is just back after having completed major portions of the film.

In the land of the sun and sea, Sri Lanka, Ganesh barely had time to relax. Instead, he burnt the midnight oil for 15 days straight while shooting for his first horror-comedy film Gimmick. The team of Naganna’s directorial is just back after having completed major portions of the film. “This particular schedule was all about the film’s theme -- horror, and it was my first experience shooting at one stretch during the nights,” says Ganesh, adding, “We used to start shooting at 6 in the evening and wrap up at 5 am the next day. My entire sleep cycle has changed with this shoot.” 

He continues: “Since we mostly shot for horror sequences, the ghost talk, the darkness of the night added to the setting. But we had the best team. Our large crew, including Sunder Raj, Shobhraj, Gurudutt, Ravi Shankar Gowda, had a blast.”Now, the actor has only 10 to 15 days of shoot pending, which includes the climax fight, two songs and bit of patch work. 

Super minute gets a huge opening
Looks like Ganesh is on a roll, with his reality show, Super Minute and films keeping him busy round the clock. “With commoners participating in the show,  it has added to the excitement of the game. I am enjoying every minute of this reality show,”  he says. 

Ganesh to start with Orange promotions from October 25 
With a line up of films, Ganesh’s next for release will be Prashant Raj’s directorial Orange. The actor will start promotions for the film from October 25, when the team plans to release the first single song from the music album scored by S Thaman. Orange will be Priya Anand’s second outing after Raajakumara. 

Geetha filming to start in December 
Ganesh’s next film is Geetha is extra special for him. The actor, who will start shoot from December, says, “It will be a one-of-its-kind film for the entire crew. I’m saying this after having gone through the screenplay for the film. I have done the first dialogue reading, and I can say that it is shaping up well,” he says about Geetha, which has roped in Parvathy  Arunas one of the three heroines.
