Director Omar Lulu, who struck gold with his debut movie Happy Wedding, says his next film Chunkzz, will be about a set of friends from a mechanical engineering course, who take a road trip to Goa.

The first 30 min, he guarantees, will be a laugh-riot packed with action as  a beautiful girl makes an entry into a testosterone-packed classroom.

“The boys in the mechanical engineering classroom are frustrated as there are no girls to spice up their life. The mech boys are also always looking  for trouble as they go mess up with students in the other courses,” he adds. Balu Varghese, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Vishak from Anandam fame and Ganapathi will play the titular roles while Honey Rose will be everybody’s subject of interest. The film which will go on the floors on February 9 will be shot at Kalady Sree Sankara College.

The rest of the movie will, however, revolve around friendship and travel. “This movie is not star-ridden, which is why I solely, stuck to comedy this time too. I believe I can’t bank on any other genre for a movie which does not have a star cast. Chunkzz is expected to be a better comedy compared to Happy Wedding,” the director added.
