Anu Sithara, who was last seen in Fukri in a much traditional role, will play a city girl in Ramante Eden Thottam. She will be the love interest of Kunchacko Boban who will play Ram Menon, a middle-aged man who owns a resort, in the middle of the jungle. The film directed by Renjith Sankar will go on floors on Thursday.

The director adds that the film is much closer to life compared to movies like Pretham, because it focuses on relationships and people. “I wanted it to be a bit unique which is why I chose a resort as the setting for the movie. The resort sprawled around 500 acres is located at a very remote place and has a lot of visitors. Anu Sithara’s character Malini will be one among them. She is a young city girl who is not used to living in such remote conditions, where there is no internet facility or network,” he added.

The movie will be shot in Wayanad and Kochi. The director, who has worked with Jayasurya and Prithviraj in his past films, says that he is excited with his association with Kunchacko Boban.  “ Kunchacko Boban was in my mind from the time the movie was being scripted. Kunchacko also gets to play his real age in the movie,” said the director.
