The title of Pranav Mohanlal's second film was unveiled at its pooja function held at Ernakulam on Monday. Named Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu, this is Arun Gopy's second directorial venture after his successful debut Ramaleela. Tomichan Mulakupadam, who backed Ramaleela and Pulimurugan, is producing Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu under the banner of Mulakupadam Films.

Mohanlal and wife Suchitra graced the occasion by their presence. Apart from Pranav Mohanlal, Arun Gopy, and Tomichan Mulakupadam, actors Asif Ali, Vinitha Koshy, Aju Varghese, directors K Madhu and Shrikumar Menon were also in attendance.

The film's first look poster came with the tagline, 'Not a don story', hinting at the fact that the story may not have anything to do with Mohanlal's yesteryear classic Irupathaam Noottaandu, in which the actor appeared in the now iconic role of underworld don Sagar alias Jacky. No details about Pranav's film have been revealed by the makers yet. There are reports that the film will have a significant amount of action.
Pranav made his full-fledged acting debut with Jeetu Joseph's Aadhi, which went on to become a big success. The film was noted for its action sequences, and as Pranav had impressed everyone with his own parkour stunts, audiences are expecting something similar in his second film as well. Jeetu had earlier directed Pranav's father in one of Malayalam cinema's biggest hits, Drishyam.

Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu is penned by Arun Gopy. On the technical front, Abhinandam Ramanujam is in charge of cinematography. Vivek Harshan is the editor, Gopi Sundar the music composer, and Peter Hein the stunt choreographer. Joseph Nellickal is handling the art direction.
