After Devi (l), Prabhu Deva and RJ Balaji will team up for Yung Mung Chung, directed by debutante filmmaker MS Arjun, former associate of ‘Mundasupatti’ Ram.

According to sources, this is a period drama-cum-action comedy, chronicling the events between 1970s and 1987. City Express learns that Prabhu Deva plays a kung fu expert in the film.
While director Thangar Bachan plays Prabhu Deva’s dad, Yung Mung Chung has Chithra Lakshmanan and Kumki Ashwin in important roles. A little birdie tells us Catherine Teresa has been approached to play the leading lady. However, official confirmation is awaited.

“RJ Balaji will be playing Prabhu Deva’s friend. Shooting will begin in Chennai from the second week of February,” informs the source.
