Gautham Karthik signs his next

Arumuga Kumar, who assisted Balaji Tharaneetharan in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (2012), has turned a director with a yet-to-be-titled campus story starring Gautham Karthik in the lead.

Arumuga Kumar, who assisted Balaji Tharaneetharan in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (2012), has turned a director with a yet-to-be-titled campus story starring Gautham Karthik in the lead.

Kumar tells CE, “Gautham plays a college goer. He sets out on a journey. What happens when he does so, forms the rest of the story. The film has a dual hero subject, and we are in talks with a top hero, who’ll come on board next week.” While shooting will start from February 15 onwards in Chennai, after the first schedule, the crew will head to different forests in various States like Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
“It’s a full-length adventure comedy, and Gautham hasn’t done this character before,” he adds. On the other hand, Gautham Karthik is busy with films like Indrajith, Muthuramalingam, Rangoon, Ivan Thanthiran, Sippai and Hara Hara Mahadevaki.
