Arun Vijay’s upcoming film with director Magizh Thirumeni, Thadam, will go on the floors next week in Chennai. While it’s been reported that the film will have two female leads, CE has information that the makers are bringing one more heroine on board.

Arun Vijay tells us, “Thadam will have three leading ladies. Two of them will have great scope for performance. We have zeroed in on actresses who haven’t paired up with me on screen so far. Their names will be revealed before the shoot begins.”

Director Magizh says, “One of the three will not be a conventional heroine, but she will be a central character in the story. The role will likely be played by a newbie.”
Touted to be an investigative thriller, the film will have Arun Vijay sporting a different look. The actor says, “In Kuttram 23, we explored a unique crime angle. I’m confident that Thadam will also be an exciting ride for the audience.”

On rumours of a possible collaboration again with Gautham Menon, he smiles: “Gautham has already announced that he’ll be doing a film with me. I am in touch with him. It is yet to materialise.”

Thadam marks the second-time collaboration of Arun Vijay and Magizh Thirumeni after Thadaiyara Thaakka. Sources say that the actor will be seen in a dual role in the film. However, official confirmation is awaited. Choreographer-turned-actor FEFSI Vijayan and Meera Krishnan are part of the supporting cast.
