Suriya releases first look poster of Udhayanidhi Stalin - Priyadarshan team's 'Nimir'

Actor Suriya Sivakumar has released the first look poster of 'Nimir', director Priyadarshan's film with Udhayanidhi Stalin.

According to director Priyadarshan, it was director and now actor J Mahendran who had suggested the title 'Nimir' for the movie.

Actor Suriya Sivakumar on Saturday released the first look poster of 'Nimir', director Priyadarshan's film with Udhayanidhi Stalin. 

The movie is the official remake of the Malayalam superhit 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram' which starred Fahadh Faasil, Alencier, Sujith and Aparna Balamurali in the lead.

Suriya, sharing the poster via his Twitter handle wrote, " Glad to release the Firstlook of #Nimir directed by @priyadarshandir for whom I have a lot of respect. All the best.. @Udhaystalin Bossu!" 

Earlier Mohanlal had launched the title of the movie in a function held in Chennai.

''Nimir' stars Namitha Pramod, J Mahendran, Samuthirakani, Parvatii Nair, Karunakaran and MS Bhasker.

According to director Priyadarshan, it was director and now actor J Mahendran who had suggested the title 'Nimir' for the movie.

Vairamuthu and Thamarai has written lyrics for the film. Darbuka Siva, who composed for films like 'Enna Nokki Payum Thota', along with A Ajneesh Loknath has scored music for the movie.

The film was shot in Tenkasi, Kuttralam, Chennai and Dubai.

Santhosh Kuruvilla has bankrolled the project under 'Moonshoot Entertainment'.

Suriya, whose last release was Singam 3 is awaiting 'Thaana Serndha Kootam' to hit the screens. 
While the movie has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead, Vignesh Sivn, who had made 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan', directing the movie.
