CHENNAI:  The trailer of Kamal Haasan-starrer 'Vishwaroopam 2' was launched in Chennai today. This is Kamal Haasan's first movie after his foray into politics.

The trailer is packed with action and Kamal Haasan is seen playing the role of a RAW agent.

'Vishwaroopam 2' will be released in Hindi as Vishwaroop 2. The movie is also dubbed in Telugu.

"I've choreographed for this film along with Pandit Birju Maharaj. I actually entered cinema as a choreographer but I ended up exploring everything in it.", said Kamal Haasan at the launch event. The actor was also seen performing a Kathak dance in the trailer.

"Viswaroopam2 will be released internationally and the theatre count will be on par with any Hollywood film. It's just a humble beginning for a massive future," he added.

'Vishwaroopam', which was released in 2013 had courted controversy during its release. "I strongly feel that 'Vishwaroopam 2' won't face the opposition from hidden forces like it's prequel. Even if anyone opposes the film in future, we are ready to face it," said Kamal Haasan, who has also produced the movie.

Unlike the prequel which was shot in United States, 'Vishwaroopam 2' is shot in India.

The much-awaited trailer was released in the presence of veteran actor Nasser.

"A long wait comes to end now. The film indeed is a Vishwaroopam. Am glad to be called Raj Kamal Film's company artist", said Nasser during the event.
