Short filmmakers win accolades 

The sixth edition of VIVO SIIMA South Indian Film Awards to be hosted in Abu Dhabi on June 30 and July 1 will see in attendance the biggest names from the South Indian Film Industry.

HYDERABAD: The sixth edition of VIVO SIIMA South Indian Film Awards to be hosted in Abu Dhabi on June 30 and July 1 will see in attendance the biggest names from the South Indian Film Industry.

VIVO SIIMA also hosted its first Short Film Awards for Telugu and Kannada film in the city recently. Vibri Media (which owns SIIMA and CCL) and KWAN will jointly manage the winners of the Short Film Awards and will help in building their careers in the entertainment field.

The awards ceremony saw in attendance of Telugu stars.  Here’s the list of winners 

- Best Short Film - VindhyaMrutham
- Best Director - Lakshman Krishna  (KrishnamurthiGarintlo)
- Best Actor - Shiva Kumar R (Indian Age 25)
- Best Actress - DarshiniSekhar (KrishnamurthiGarintlo)
- Best Supporting Actor - AnkithKoyya (YedhaneVadiliVellipomake)
- Best Supporting Actress - JahnaviDasetty (PremathoPeechumittai)
- Best Comedian - Ravi Sai Teja Paila (PremathoPeechumittai)
- Best Music Director - Kabir Rafi (KonchemIstamChalaKashtam)
