Nagarjuna has done something that he hasn’t in till date – sporting a clean cut look, shaving off his moustache. When the actor turned up for the promotions of his upcoming film Raju Gari Gadhi 2, his new look is the much-talked-about topic of the onlookers. Is this how he looks in his next film? Pat comes the reply, “There is nothing special about it. I don’t have shoots for the next three months. So, I wanted to try out something new and I also have the idea to do a photoshoot with this new look. If any of my directors like my look, why not give it a try in one of my films?” explains Nagarjuna.

The Manmadhudu actor’s looks have surely taken the audience’ breath away. “This look is attracting the ladies and they like it,” he laughs.

Nagarjuna is looking forward to the release of Raju Gari Gadhi 2 on October 13. Directed by Ohmkar, the film is inspired by Malayalam hit Pretham. “Although we didn’t reveal much about the story in the trailer, those who’ve seen the video are speaking about how it feels completely different (to other horror films), in terms of tone.

While the theme remains the same, the way Ohmkar treated it ensured it never felt like a remake. It was literally a whole new film with its own quirks and exciting characterisations. As for my role, I play Rudra, a mentalist, who gets to deal with spirits.”

The 58-year-old actor agrees that the film was partly delayed due to visual effects and reshoots. “RGG 2 has clear importance for visual effects. Director Ohmkar was hell-bent on handling over the VFX works to a Mumbai-based studio. I have told him authoritatively that Hyderabad is the best place for visual effects and we have some amazing VFX studios here. Adding to that, the Bollywood studios show apathy towards our cinema and also a few scenes of the film had to be reshot. However, Ohmkar didn’t budge and apparently, I have put a clause that I will dub for my lines only after I’m content with the final output. Now that I’m pleased with the final copy and VFX work, I completed my job and eagerly waiting for the release.”

The actor has been constantly surprising the audience with new roles on screen. “I’m glad that I’m being offered varied roles and I’m having a blast doing them. I’m delighted that audience are liking all my attempts. I’m tired of dance and romantic films and would like to see our younger lot attempt such films.”
Nag is equally excited about the wedding of his older son Naga Chaitanya. “I’m happy that Chai and Sam agreed to wed in two different styles as per Hindu and Christian traditions. Both the ceremonies will take place in Goa from October 6 - October 8. It’s going to be a simple wedding with only immediate family attending it. As Chai and Sam will get back to work on October 15, I will organise a lavish reception in Hyderabad for the fraternity and friends at N-Convention, right after the wedding,” added Nagarjuna.

The romantic star sports an all-new look and a brand new outlook too

What’ll the bride wear?
Sam-Chai wedding is getting closer by the day and people can't stop anticipating about what the bride-to-be is going to wear.  What we know now is that her wedding lehenga is being designed by Kresha Bajaj who spearheads the label Koecsh. Remember the sari she wore for her engagement with the major milestones of her love story with chai embroidered on the fabric? Yes, that was Kresha's handiwork too.

Teasing her wedding outfit, Sam had written on social media,   “If there is one person I know who has all the talent all the sass all the beauty with her heart in the absolutely right place it is my doll of a friend Kresha Bajaj. Her love story lehengas are straight out of a fairy tale and if there is anyone I would trust for my wedding it would be her and so I have," she had announced.  The stunning lehenga by Kresha titled, The Koëcsh Lovestory Lehenga 2.0, could only be as regal and unique as the one Sam wore for her engagement.

Who is Kresha Bajaj, you wonder? The designer is no less than a star herself with over 70 K followers on Instagram.  Daughter of industrialist father Kishor Bajaj and married to jeweller husband Vanraj Zaveri,  (of Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri & Sons chain) she designed her own wedding lehenga as well.

"I felt a bit challenged because I don’t like not being able to use the same garment multiple times in multiple ways for multiple occasions. As I knew my wedding lehenga would be something I would only wear once, I decided to make it a piece of artwork that I would later frame (sic)," Kresha posted on Instagram last year. - Paulami Sen

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director David Dhawan called me to watch Judwaa 2. They also suggested me to remake it in Telugu. I will take a call only after I watch it

The audience prefer to watch films during the weekends and festive season. So, the makers want to cash in on the holiday advantage and planning their releases accordingly
