Anushka, Madhavan team up for a silent thriller

Director Hemant Madhukar of Vastadu Naa Raju fame is ready with his next, a silent thriller featuring actors Anushka and Madhavan in the lead.

The film is being shepherded jointly by Kiran Reddy and Bharath Chowdary of Blue Planet Entertainments, and TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory.

“This silent Telugu film, which will also be released simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi, shows Anushka in a performance-oriented role and Madhavan in an interesting role. Besides them, the project will also have an international star cast,” reveals a source. Recently, Hemant has flown down to Seattle to start prepping for the film. “The story is set in Seattle and it will be the first Indian film to be shot completely over there.

The director has been carrying out the recce in the seaport city and has also narrated the script to a few Hollywood actors who are going through it,” the source adds.Renowned script writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are providing the story and screenplay for this untitled film which will go on floors in September.
