'Maheshinte Prathikaaram', directed by Dileesh Pothen was a huge success commercially as well as critically. The film had Fahadh Faasil playing the titular role with Soubin Shahir, Alencier, Anusree and Aparna Balamurali delivering stellar performances. The film, made with a shoestring budget went on to gross over 40 crores and won two national film awards and five state awards.
