Man booked in Maharashtra for having sex with cow

MUMBAI: In a shocking incident at Kopergaon in Ahmednagar district, an externed criminal has been arrested for having sex with a cow.

“Shravan More (35) was arrested last night under the section 377 for the offence of unnatural sex after a complaint in this regard was lodged by Daulat Jagjhap of Dhamora village,” police inspector Nanda Ganande told the New Indian Express over the phone.

Jagjhap, the owner of the Gir breed cow, saw More having unnatural sex with the cow. He and other villagers caught him red handed and brought him to the police station and registered complaint against him. 

He was immediately arrested and was produced before the court on Wednesday, where the court granted him to police custody for two days, Galande added.

More, originally a resident of Yeola in Nashik district is learnt to have been externed and was staying at his relative’s place in Dhamora village. 

“As of now, we do not know he had been involved in what kind of crimes and for which crime he had been externed from Nashik district,” Galande said and added that the investigation is being carried out and the things would be clear very soon.
