Three burnt alive as car catches fire in Gurgaon

According to the police, the incident took place late Thursday night near hotel Lemon Tree in sector 71, Gurgaon.

NEW DELHI: Three men burnt alive when a car they were travelling in went up in flames at Gurgaon, the police said on Friday. 

According to the police, the incident took place late Thursday night near hotel Lemon Tree in sector 71, Gurgaon. 

When the police reached the spot the Esteem car was on fire, after which the rescue operations were started. 

The three deceased residents of Gurgaon are Gajendra (28), Devendra (38) and Narendra (28) whose carcasses were pulled out of the car. The dead bodies have been sent for post-mortem. 

"Primafacie the trigger of the fire was from the CNG kit fitted in the vehicle. After which the fire spread and two men fell unconscious the doors did not open as the central locking system was jammed" said a police official.
