NEW DELHI:  As many as 93 terrorists have been killed by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir since the February 14 Pulwama terror attack, the government told Parliament on Wednesday.

There has also been a significant reduction in terrorist-initiated incidents by 28 per cent this year as compared to the corresponding period of 2018, said MoS, Home, G Kishan Reddy in the Rajya Sabha.

When asked about the investigation into the Pulwama attack, Reddy said an investigation by the National Investigation Agency into the attack so far has resulted in the identification of the conspirators, the suicide attacker and the vehicle provider.

“The operations on the ground have resulted in the neutralisation of the conspirator, his associate and the vehicle owner,” he said. In response to another question, Reddy said the government has zero tolerance policy towards terrorism. He also told Parliament that terrorist activities have reduced significantly in the hinterland of the country.
