Chennai, Dec 4 (PTI) An inebriated Kolkata-boundpassenger today created a ruckus at the domestic airport afterbeing refused boarding pass for a flight as he had tickets ofa different airline, sources said.

He also allegedly hit a senior Central IndustrialSecurity Force (CISF) official, who tried to intervene in thematter.

Airport authorities said the drunk man got into a heatedargument with an Air India official, who refused to give him aboarding pass as he had a ticket of a different airline.

The man also allegedly assaulted a senior CISF official,who tried to pacify him.

As the passenger was found to be drunk, he was detainedby the airport police and his relatives were informed,authorities said.

Police were yet to file a case against him, they added.
