New Delhi, Dec 5 (PTI) Rice basmati prices drifted lowerby Rs 200 per quintal at wholesale grains market today owingto slackened demand.

However, grains held steady in thin trade.

Traders said easing demand against sufficient stocksposition, mainly weighed on rice basmati prices.

In the national capital, rice basmati common and Pusa-1121 variety fell by Rs 200 each to Rs 7,700-7,800 and Rs6,200-6,300 per quintal respectively.
