New Delhi, Oct 10 (PTI) Rice basmati prices fell by upto Rs 400 per quintal at the wholesale grains market todayowing to considerable fall in demand at prevailing higherlevels.
Traders attributed the fall in rice basmati prices tofall in demand from stockists and rice mills at existinghigher levels.
In the national capital, rice basmati common andPusa-1121 variety slipped to Rs 7,400-7,600 and Rs 6,200-6,500from previous levels of Rs 7,700-7,800 and Rs 6,600-6,700 perquintal respectively.
