New Delhi, Oct 25 (PTI) Prices of rice basmati rose by upto Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale grains market todayfollowing increased buying by stockists.

However, other grains moved in a narrow range inscattered deals and pegged at last levels.

Traders said stockists buying due to pick-up in demandfrom retailers mainly led to rise in rice basmatiprices.

In the national capital, rice basmati common and Pusa-1121 variety advanced to trade at Rs 7,500-7,600 and Rs6,100-6,200 from previous levels of Rs 7,300-7,400 and Rs6,000-6,100 per quintal respectively.
