Int’l meet on fisheries  to begin on Tuesday 

The 11th Indian Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum (IFAF), an international conference on fisheries,  will be held here from Nov 21 to 24.

KOCHI:  The 11th Indian Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum (IFAF), an international conference on fisheries,  will be held here from Nov 21 to 24. The triennial international conference, hosted by the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) in collaboration with the Asian Fisheries Society Indian Branch (AFSIB), will be inaugurated by Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu. 

The conference aims to provide a comprehensive outlook for fisheries and aquaculture sectors to achieve greater synergy among stakeholders. It will also give thrust to planning strategies for fisheries and aqua farming to build higher levels of sustainability and profitability in line with the Blue Growth Initiative.
