MADURAI: Hours after Tirupparankundram MLA AK Bose announced in Theni that he was in TTV Dhinakaran’s camp, where he met the latter at a private hotel, he did a rollback here in Madurai.

Following a meeting with Revenue Minister RB Udayakumar, he stated that he was in Edappadi K Palaniswami’s camp, on Sunday.

Bose had met the side-lined AIADMK leader Dhinakaran in Theni after attending a marriage and told media that he was supporting Dhinakaran. With this announcement, Dhinakaran’s supporters began claiming that the number of MLAs supporting them had increased and the same was broadcast by news channels.

However, after reaching Madurai and meeting Revenue Minister Udayakumar, he declared that he was still supporting the EPS camp, at a press meet jointly organised by the minister and himself.

“I am with EPS only. The meeting with Dhinakaran was a ‘courtesy call’. EPS is doing a good job as CM and AIADMK’s rule will continue,” he stated.

Referring to a plan to meet V K Sasikala, Bose said, “I am supporting the present government as promised to Sasikala, who made EPS the CM, in Koovathur. I will decide the next course of action after meeting her.”

Bose also denied Dhinakaran’s allegation that he was kidnapped by Udayakumar to prevent him from participating in the public meeting held in Melur.
