HYDERABAD: The Raja Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy Telangana State Police Academy (RBVRR TSPA) officials, who bagged prestigious national awards for providing best training to police officials, have introduced three new papers for the forthcoming batch of sub-inspectors (SIs) and other officials on crime against women, children, SC/STs and minorities.

“We have designed new papers on crime against women, children, SC/STs, minorities and other vulnerable groups, investigation of cyber crimes, economic offences and organised crimes and integrated learning scenarios, apart from revising the syllabus for existing papers,” Academy director Ish Kumar said, while explaining the TSPA achievements.
The indoor and outdoor officers of the Telangana State Police Academy have visited various training institutes in India such as eight state and six central police academies to study the best practices in indoor and outdoor training and it culminated in a regional training conference at the academy which was attended by 54 participants from 18 state and central academies.
The Telangana State Police Academy conducted 107 training courses including workshops and seminars.The Academy also trained 3,098 police officers and others in 2016.
