HYDERABAD: The animal husbandry department has accorded permission for construction of 40 retail fish markets at an estimated cost of `10 lakh each.
The department issued operational guidelines for the same on Tuesday. State will give 100 pc grant under the scheme, ‘Development of Fisheries’.
Municipalities, grama panchayats and nagara panchayats are eligible for availing the grant up to `10 lakh for markets’ construction.
