HYDERABAD: Some of the dissidents in the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) such as its convener Pittala Ravinder, Nallapu Prahlad (co-chairman) and Tanveer Sultana (co-convener), have decided to continue their fight against chairman M Kodandaram further. The leaders met at a hotel here on Monday to chalk out their future course of action.

Later, Pittala Ravinder told Express that more than 20 leaders of TJAC from various districts attended the meeting. They wrote another open letter to Kodandaram, disapproving of his proposal to float a political outfit, he added.

The latest letter asked the former professor to hold emergency meeting of the organisation’s steering committee to discuss the issues raised by Ravinder, Prahlad and Tanveer Sultana in their previous letter. They also questioned Kodandaram’s sacrifices for the new state and backed the charges made by the trio against the TJAC chairman.

“On the one hand you say that TJAC will not move closely with political parties and, on the other, you meet politicians regularly. Is it appropriate for you?” they questioned Kodandaram in their letter.
