Don’t screen PSV Garuda Vega, orders Hyderabad civil court

The city civil court has ordered film producers, directors and Youtube not to screen ‘PSV Garuda Vega’, a thriller film starring hero Rajashekar.

HYDERABAD: The city civil court has ordered film producers, directors and Youtube not to screen ‘PSV Garuda Vega’, a thriller film starring hero Rajashekar.

The court also said that the film should not be uploaded on any social media platforms. The film shows illegal transportation of nuclear raw material from India to North Korea.

The court passed the interim order after a petition was filed by the Uranium corporation, Upparapally in the city complaining that the film shows the corporation in a bad light.

The petitioner corporation told the court that the film shows that there is an Uranium plant at Thummapally and Jaduguda in Andhra Pradesh. Further, the film shows a ship named “Garuda Vega” through which Plutonium, Uranium and Thorium were illegally transported.

The movie shows the involvement of Home Minister, Ministry of Home Affairs, Corporation Chairman in the smuggling. The corporation’s image was affected due to the screening of the film, it noted.
