VISAKHAPATNAM: To know the latent potential of a human brain and its functioning has always made curious one and all.
Here is a technology that analyses fingerprints and decodes the inborn potential, personality type, learning style, multiple intelligence and career preferences of an individual. Interesting, isn’t it?

Associated with fingerprint patterns and brain lobes, DMIT is a scientific aptitude test that is based on neuroscience and multiple intelligence theory developed by scientist  Howard Gardner and other medical experts. According to a medical research, fingerprints are formed between 13th and 19th week of an embryo, a period where the brain development and dermal ridge grow simultaneously.  Thus there is a direct correlation between the fingerprints and brain development.

The test, if done at an early age, helps in understanding the latent talents of a child through SWOT analysis (strengths, weakness, opportunities, threats) and hence it is easier to divert the child’s attention and energies towards improving the inborn skills. This would help in choosing a field that he/she would be best at instead of trial and error method and would lead to holistic development of the child.

“Initially, there is a free consultation with clients on one-on-one basis wherein they are briefed about what they can expect from the test. A DMIT test costs `4,500. People also have an option of going for a short test which costs `1,000,” says Sohail Singh Gill, marketing manager of the DMIT lab.
To ‘know yourself’, you can visit the DMIT lab, the first of its kind in AP at Regus Business Centre, Ram Nagar.
