

ANANTAPUR: Chief Minister N Chandrababu and his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekhar Rao attended the wedding of Paritala Sriram, son of slain TDP MLA Paritala Ravi and Minister for Women and Child Welfare Paritala Sunita, on Sunday. Naidu, who was accompanied by his brother-in-law and Hindupur MLA N Balakrishna, arrived at the marriage venue at 11:20 am.
Around 12:20 pm, Chandrasekhar Rao arrived at the venue along with Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and legislator Errabelli Dayakar Rao. Several other politicians and film personalities including M Mohan Babu, his daughter Lakshmi, Boyapati Srinu and Tarakaratna attended the event that hosted thousands of people. A large number of police personnel were deployed to prevent any untoward incident.
Both the Chief Ministers used special flights to come to Anantapur. They disembarked at Satya Sai Airport in Puttaparthi, where they spent some time, before leaving for Venkatapuram in helicopters. While Naidu reviewed the progress of the Kia Motors project, KCR interacted with former Minister and Puttaparthi MLA Palle Raghunath Reddy and other TDP leaders.
Later while speaking to mediapersons, Palle Raghunath Reddy said KCR has assured all cooperation to AP and would strive for the development of both the Telugu states.
