GUNTUR: An SSC student allegedly committed suicide by throwing himself before a running train at Venukonda late on Monday night.Sixteen-year-old Sk Muzawar Aqeeb Javed of Narayana Talent School here allegedly took the extreme step fearing that his parents would pull him up for beating up a student in school.After Javed thrashed the student, the latter lodged a complaint with the school teacher, who, after shouting at teenager, asked him to go home and bring his parents the next day.


Scared that his parents would get angry, the boy left his house on a bicycle and allegedly ended his life on the railway track at Endugpalem near Vinukonda Railway Station.Javed’s father Sk Muzawar Mohammad Sharif, mother Zareena and relatives found the body on Tuesday morning. They rushed to the school and had an argument with the management, which they held responsible for their son’s death.The boy’s relatives attempted to damage the school’s furniture even as members of the management fled the town fearing an attack on them.

Police said the relatives, who had fought with the management, later said the death was an accident and filed a complaint to this effect, reportedly after the school paid them compensation. 
Railway SI D Venkateswara Rao said the parents had stated in their complaint that Javed left for the railway station to attend nature’s call.The body has been sent to Vinukonda Government Hospital for postmortem examination.
