Range Rover Autobiography achieved another feat as it entered its third decade at the pinnacle of premium SUV luxury. For 21 years, Range Rover customers have specified design and luxury features to reflect their personal tastes. To celebrate the same, the company has unveiled the Range Rover Autobiography Black.
The Autobiography has denoted the ultimate combination of Land Rover design and luxury, adapting with the changing customer tastes and preferences to remain a benchmark in the premium SUV market.
The Autobiography was first announced at the London motor show in late 1993 and introduced to customers the following year. The earliest Autobiography Range Rovers were wholly bespoke, offering customers the opportunity to indulge their tastes in limitless varieties of paintwork colours and interior finishes. The demand was so high, the Land Rover was prompted to adopt Autobiography as a limited edition version, featuring the larger engine from the long-wheelbase LSE models and distinctive interior and exterior colour-ways. Just 25 were built, securing their highly-priced status among connoisseurs of the marque. Since then the model has seen a huge transformation.
