Nissan Motors, the Japanese car maker, announced on Monday, the worldwide premiere of the full sized SUV Patrol Desert Edition at Dubai International Motor Show. Developed for the regional customers, the vehicle is turned out in partnership with the UAE Rally Champion DR, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, FIA vice president and the president of Touring Club UAE. Nissan sustains the tradition of delivering customized models that suit the customers’ requirement and the Patrol Desert Edition fulfills the same, taking the legacy forward.
Nissan’s Patrol NISMO Edition will be available before the end of this year. while the expected price of the vehicle is around $100,470 USD in the United Arab Emirates which varies from one region to the other. Nissan highly focused on the dedicated GCC research study results to create this version. The vehicle takes the legendary off-road abilities of the SUV even to the greater heights and the NISMO edition is more luxurious and sportier in comparison with the regular Nissan Patrol. Keeping in mind the ’Innovation that Excites’, Nissan has joined hands with the Etisalat to launch the advance ‘Nissan SmartCar‘ application which is powered by the Etisalat network and M2M Control Center platform. This unique application allows the user to control key aspects of the car using their mobile phones. The buyers of the new Nissan Patrol MY16 and Maxima 2016 can easily turn the AC On through their phone. One can lock and unlock the car remotely and can track it. This way, the new app will surely give more convenience, control and security to the customers.
Nissan Middle East also demonstrated the worldwide premiere of the new ‘Nissan Patrol: The Movie’ experience, where visitors will get a chance to star in the action movie of their own, featuring the 2016 Patrol. The visitors are trained by the director to finish the unique shots on the front of the very special green screen, before receiving the personalized trailer and movie posters. For the ones still fancying their 5 minutes of fame, the Nissan Patrol: The Movie’ experience will be available to all the visitors throughout the Dubai International Motor Show at Nissan’s outdoor stand location.
