Auto Expo never fails to create excitement among the Indian audience each year and the 2016 edition of the event lived up to the expectations, revealing plenty of new and enthralling cars. So let us take a look at the top findings from this year’s Auto Expo which will soon be launched in the Indian market.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

Dubbed as the “EcoSport killer” by many, Maruti finally came out with the much anticipated Vitara Brezza that received an overwhelming response from both the online viewers and the audience at the Expo itself. With fantastic looks and a good engine, Maruti Vitara Brezza (https://www.cardekho.com/carmodels/Maruti/Maruti_Vitara_Brezza) may create chaos in the already popular compact SUV segment.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis

Maruti Suzuki Ignis was one of the few cars that looked production ready at the Auto Expo 2016. Expecting competitive pricing from the country’s largest passenger maker, Maruti Suzuki Ignis seems to have all the right ingredients to be a hit among the Indian audience.

Honda BR-V

Honda unveiled BR-V is a debut SUV from the Japanese automaker which is supposed to rival popular Hyundai Creta. The vehicle looks stunning and at par with Creta if not better and will certainly please the masses in terms of aesthetic appeal more than anything else. It is obvious though that Honda BR-V is based on Mobilio, but has a lot more power and build behind it.

Chevrolet Essentia

Despite the enormous success that a lot of automakers have had in the Indian market, Chevrolet has not been able to capitalize on the growing car market of the country. However, the company would be hoping to change their luck through its new line up of cars including Chevrolet Essentia that has taken Chevrolet Beat as its blueprint.

Chevrolet Spin

Chevrolet is looking to go on the offensive this season with a lot of new range of products and the Spin MPV is the car that will lead the automaker in that direction. So far from the news and rumour section, it is said that the vehicle would be placed above Enjoy.

Tata Nexon

Tata is another brand that was quite active at the Indian auto expo 2016 and Nexo SUV made sure that all eyes went to the new vehicle from Tata. The vehicle looks production ready and is not that different from the concept vehicle that we saw back in 2014.

Tata Kite 5

The compact sedan segment had another entry with Tata unveiling Kite 5 at the Auto Expo 2016. The vehicle is based on the popular hatchback Zica with beautiful exterior that looks exquisite from all angles.

Tata Hexa

Hexa looks like a rejuvenated version of Aria with a hefty size that has ample space inside the cabin. The vehicle definitely has things going for it in aesthetic department with muscular yet elegant design. Tata Hexa would be competing against Toyota MPV, which is a popular name in the segment and it would be interesting to see how the former performs.

Jeep Line up

This one has been anticipated for over 2 years now, but the Jeep lineup is finally here and will be available for purchase from the mid of 2016. The lineup includes various models including Grand Cherokee, Wrangler and Grand Cherokee SRT.

Toyota Innova Crysta

This was one of the most popular models that took centre stage at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo with Toyota bringing out the new upgraded version dubbed as Innova Crysta. With a lot of cosmetic additions to the MPV, the vehicle is surely going to be priced above the standard Innova.

Nissan GT-R

One of the most legendary names in the supercar category, Nissan GT-R came to life for the first time on Indian soil with the vehicle being displayed at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo. The car will be on sale in the country this year.
