MUMBAI: Indian broadcaster New Delhi Television Ltd said on Tuesday it has decided to end a deal to sell a majority stake in its lifestyle unit to U.S. media firm Scripps Networks Interactive Inc for $55 million.

Under the deal announced last November, Scripps would get a 69 percent stake in NDTV Lifestyle, with NDTV Group owning the rest.
