CHENNAI: NCR India, domestic operations wing of NCR Corporation (Consumer transaction technology-ATM, POS and Touch Kiosks) is planning to shift its manufacturing facility  from Puducherry to Chennai by the end of this year.

Speaking at a press conference here on Thursday, Jaivinder Singh Gill, Vice President, India and South East Asia, NCR Corporation said that the new 117,000 sq feet manufacturing plant that is coming up at Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu would be completed by the end of 2014, starting production by 2015 keeping in line with the company’s plans of entering sectors such as hospitality and retail through its Point of Sales (POS) and Self Service Kiosks.
