Deepak Fertilisers Q1 Net Jumps 14 Percent on Other Income

NEW DELHI: Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation (DFPCL) today reported a 13.75 per cent increase in stand-alone net profit at Rs 45.33 crore for the quarter ended June 2015, helped by higher other income.

The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 39.85 crore a year ago. Net sales in the said quarter rose 13.38 per cent to Rs 1,065.15 crore, from Rs 939.45 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.

During the quarter, Deepak Fertilisers reported other income of Rs 33.17 crore as against Rs 7.17 crore a year earlier. The stock was trading at Rs 143.80 on BSE, up 3.75 per cent, in morning trade.
