NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio platforms, the digital arm of Reliance Industries Limited, announced that Jio is making all arrangements to file for its IPO by the first half of 2026. Mukesh Ambani, while speaking at the 48th Annual General Meeting, also stated that Jio will expand its operations outside India.

“Jio is making all arrangements to file for its IPO. We are aiming to list Jio by the first-half of 2026, subject to all necessary approvals,” said Ambani. He further mentioned the company’s ten years of service to the nation. Ambani said he was proud to share that the Jio family has crossed 500 million customers.

“The 500-million milestone is a symbol of your unwavering trust and support. I offer my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you,” said Ambani. He further highlighted how Jio has changed the digital landscape of the country. Jio made voice calls free from anywhere to everywhere in India. It made it a habit for ordinary Indians to watch videos on their mobiles and to make digital payments using their phones.

It laid the foundation for India's Digital Public Infrastructure, including Aadhaar, UPI, Jan Dhan, and Direct Bank Transfer, thereby empowering a confident new generation. Jio also enabled the creation of the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem in India, which now comprises over 100 unicorns. Its nationwide 5G rollout, the fastest in the world, has laid the foundation for the AI revolution in India. Jio’s plans for the future are even more ambitious.

The company aims to connect every Indian through mobile and home broadband. It plans to equip every Indian household with digital services such as Jio Smart Home, JioTV+, Jio TV OS, and seamless automation. Jio will work to digitise every Indian business and enterprise with simple, scalable, and secure platforms. It will lead the AI revolution in India, guided by the motto: AI Everywhere for Everyone.
