BANGALORE: Despite skepticism, world-renowned Filipino expert on psychic surgery and spiritual healing, Alex L Orbito’s healing mantra ‘Apo, Mannacabalen, Amen’ (AMA) reverberated the Pyramid Valley here on Sunday at the Global Congress of Spiritual Scientists 2008.
Orbito, who was in the news for his healing techniques like bloodless surgery, psychic surgery and spiritual healing in Bangalore in 2002, was here to impart knowledge on the basic principles of self-healing at a workshop ‘How to heal yourself ’.
Orbito was once invited to perform his psychic surgery at the Vidhana Soudha, where several ministers and legislators came forward to get their ailments treated.
Several retired judges, bureaucrats, top police officials, doctors and lawyers were convinced that they were witnessing a miracle.
Orbito demonstrated AMA healing mantra and exercises.
According to Orbito, Apo means God, Mannacabalen means the power of God and Amen means closure. “Everyone has healing powers within them, that are often blocked by their minds and life attitudes. People should learn to open themselves and their hearts so that the healing energies can flow,” he said.
Orbito spoke about how to become closer to oneself and how to heal oneself through breathing, concentration and love. The workshop dealt with how to remove negative energy from the body and meditation.
“AMA healing mantra is practiced to clean every organ by removing negative energies and to put positive energy into our organs. While practicing the mantra, the right hand is the spiritual hand, while the left is a supporting hand. Control of breathing is the process of concentration,” he added.
Former CBI director D R Karthikeyan, who headed the Special Investigation Team in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, was given a spiritual healing session by Orbito.
Through his ‘spiritual magic,’ Orbito produced a healing white stone out of thin air and gave it to Karthikeyan in the presence of around 500 spiritual followers.
