BANGALORE: The Central Crime Branch police, on Wednesday, arrested seven people, who were allegedly associates of notorious rowdy Korangu alias Krishna.
The accused were identified as R Ravikumar alias Dooth Ravi (33), Dharmesh Babu (34), N Chakravarthi alias Chakre(31), Ramesh alias Jogappa (35), N Ravikumar alias Gali Ravi (27), Imran Pasha alias Imran (26), Rama (19), Jeorge JV alias Jeorge (25) and K Chandraskehkar alias Shekhar (25).
According to the police, the accused were planning to murder a member of their opponent gang. Recently, the accused recently had allegedly kidnapped a businessman in Hanumanthanagar and robbed him of Rs 2.18 lakh cash. The police said that the accused committed the crimes under the direction of their leader Korangu Krishna.
Four nabbed Central Crime Branch police have arrested four people on charges of running a brothel in the name of a massage parlour in Chikpet.
The accused have been identified as K Manjunath (40), Oudesh (24), Thribhuvan (20) and Juloof (21). Six women were also taken into custody for their involvement in the business, police said.
The accused were allegedly running the brothel in the name of Alankar Beautician for Men and Women Centre on R T Street in Chikpet.
