We’ve been surprised again and again at how different some of our favourite movie stars look in person. Megan Fox, who is currently sizzling our screens and desktops, sure has a larger than life image. But she admits that she goes unnoticed many times due to her short height (5’4”). But that hasn’t pulled her down in any way, for she has bagged a seven-figure contract with Armani.
ON THE ROAD
An amazingly commonplace activity finds favour with Beyonce who feels riding a bike on her off days keeps her grounded. “It’s amazing how I’m able to ride around on a bike. People kind of see it’s me but since I’m on a bike, they think, ‘No, it’s not her.’ And by the time they realise it’s me, I’m already gone,” exults the singer, on her anonymity. The latest we hear is that she’ll be doing a video with Lady GaGa. Keep your TV sets and YouTube tuned.
OFF THE BEATEN PATH
When you’re known the world over for a cult TV show, fame does take you places. But Gillian Anderson chooses to step off the gilt-encrusted path and travel by the Tube when in London. The X-Files star reflects on what her passengers might think, “Is that...(Dana Scully of XFiles)? Impossible. She wouldn’t ride the Tube.” X-Files fans will see her on Moby Dick, a multi-million dollar television mini-series.

Men look at women and women look at women. And when it comes to Mariah Carey, her figure is instantly recognisable. What should a girl do when she wants to shop alone? Mariah Carey dons husband Nick Cannon’s clothes whenever she goes for a walk. “I like to go to public places and do things that I would never get a chance to do,” says the 40-year-old singer. That’s adding some ‘glitter’ to men’s clothing.
