BANGALORE: In an attempt to ease the eprocurement process, the department of e-governance will soon establish a helpline cell.
Speaking to reporters at a workshop on ‘e-procurement for registered contractors and suppliers,’ organised by the department of e-governance, B L Sridhar, principal secretary to the department, on Thursday said that the helpline cells which would be on the lines of the BangaloreOne Centres would be established in the next 10 days.
Currently, the online tendering process through eprocurement has been limited to projects worth Rs 50 lakh and above.
