Manjusha, a disciple of Karnataka Kalasri Sreedevi Unni, the founder of the renowned Monisha Arts Academy, will perform her Mohiniyattam rangapravesham  at the ADA Rangamandira in the city on August 7 at 6 pm.

Manjusha was introduced to the beauty and grace of Mohiniyattam at the age of eight when she was at Melbourne in Australia.

 Manjusha was trained for about eight years at the Natya Sudha Dance Company under the guidance of Tara Rajkumar, teacher and choreographer of Mohiniyattam and Kathakali.

 Manjusha completed her primary education at Glen Waverly Primary School in Melbourne and is currently pursuing her school finals at Indus International Bangalore. She plans to be back in Melbourne to pursue a career in Corporate Law.

 Manjusha, who is passionate about dance, especially Mohiniyattam, has also excelled in music and has been trained by Dr Rama Rao, who is the founder of Krishna Ravali School of Carnatic Music.

The supporting artistes include Allephy Sreekumar (vocal), Sreedevi Unni (nattuvangam), Vadakara PV Sunil Kumar(mridangam), Palakkad K Suryanarayanan (flute), A Shankaraman (veena) and Cheruthazham Achuthananda Marar (edakka).
